The Dolphin Board is pleased to announce the return of Nick Araujo, as our Co-Head Coach.
Nick has been a member of the Brentwood Dolphins for 20 years and brings an impressive coaching and swimming record. Nick began coaching in his freshman year, as a Junior Coach with the Dolphins. In addition to his years with the Dolphins, he has coached for the Brentwood Seawolves for 7 years, and the Oakwood Water Polo Club for 8 years, coaching all age groups. In addition to coaching for these organizations, Nick has swum for the Dolphins, Terrapins and Seawolves. In high school, Nick was a 4-year varsity swimmer and also played varsity water polo for 3 years, leading the water polo team as captain in his senior year. He made it to NCS 3 of his 4 years swimming and made it to NCS for water polo in his senior year. He achieved first team all league for water polo, 3 year BVAL champions in swimming, and also set the 200 IM record at Heritage High School. He swam 2 years at DVC, making it to the state championships both years in the 400IM, as well as All-American in his second year. We are so happy to have Nick returning as our Co-Head Coach for our 2017 season!
